I am starting a private jet charter brokerage. As the middle man I accept payment from clients into my business’ checking account and then pay the plane operator from that same account. However, payment does not occur at the time of booking, there is a credit hold placed preflight and then upon landing the actual amount is settled (net 10).

I accept a preauthorized credit card HOLD for the retail amount of the trip from my client. Subsequently, the plane operator puts a hold on my credit for the wholesale amount.

My problem is that I dont have enough credit to back the transaction. The question is, can I use the clients preauthorized credit card as collateral to back a line of credit or is there any other way for me to handle the transaction?

I’m planning a road trip this summer from northern California up to Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska. However, I’m having trouble figuring out a good way to get into the national park without chartering a private boat or a plane, which might be a little bit out of our budget. thanks for the suggestions so far. The rules have changed with regards to bringing a dog into the UK – they no longer require the quarantine, but you do need to vaccinate, microchip, and get a blood test before they’ll certify your dog to come into the country. A bit of a pain, but much better than a quarantine.
I would buy a seat for my dog, but haven’t yet found an airline that would allow it. I’ve heard stories of people seeing large dogs in the cabin, but I think they must’ve been service dogs.
