How do you remove and replace the plastic gliders inside a traverse rod?

I have a permanent traverse rod attached to cement ceiling in my apartment and the old plastic gliders are breaking off. Need to replace them and I can’t seem to remove some of the old ones. So how could I get old ones removed and replaced with new gliders without having major work done on cement ceiling for replacement of a new rod. Any help would be great!
