Private Planes

I am considering getting into flying, but I want to know if it could become a career, or maybe at least a profitable pastime. I would get my private pilot’s license, then the commercial license, and then hopefully get my own plane (this is all just theoretical). Probably just a 4 seater Cessna or something.

Are there any other ways to make money with this set up that might work better?

Thanks! I’m just starting to get interested in flying, I just want to know before I spend thousands on getting licenses and logging hours, that something could be made back eventually.
