kdogg asked: Hey guys, I want to get the ball rolling so I can get my private pilot’s license. I’m planning to sign up in November or so; do you think I could get it by March, without stressing it out and overdoing it? Could I squeeze it in with normal life (work and school) so that I can get it all done by March?
Also, I need clarification on this: am I really allowed to fly alone before I get the license? Because I heard that was part of the training itinerary, and I wouldn’t mind taking advantage of that!
This just in……… you guys are retarded!!!!!! There are all kinds of people on this board, smartasses….. Ya think they hav an “aircraft” section for a reason? The reason I want it by March, is because March is my birthday and I want the investment to pay off.

Jay S asked: If I pass my PPL (Private Pilots License) what way can I get a plane if I don’t have enough money?
I’m from the UK and wanted to know.
Are there any websites where I can pay off a bit each month, eventually paying it all off and own the plane?
Or are there any shops doing the same. Thanks.

walternet_2000 asked: I am planning on attending a flight school to get a private pilots license. However due to current time commitments I will not be able to start attending for a few months. However, I would like to start familiarizing myself with the academic portions of the course. Are there any suggestions on books I can start studying/reading that will benefit me in preparation for the course? Not sure if this matters, but I will be training in the San Francisco bay area, California.
